What is the Community Care Network?

Community Care Network is a faith based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Ocean Springs, Mississippi seeking to empower our clients and minister to their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Community Care Network is a faith-based agency that enables families to move from addiction, homelessness, and/or incarceration to a stable and independent life. Founded in 2003, our vision continues to be to equip our clients through life skills training, safe supportive housing, and ongoing support, and to minister healing and restoration through Christian counseling and teaching.

Testimonials from Program Graduates

"I want to thank you! There's not enough words in the world to explain how thankful I am. You were there for me when I felt alone in the world. You picked me up when I was down and you gave me hope. You gave me a fresh start at bettering my future. Thank you for all your hard work and prayers. Thank you for everything you have done for me and my family. God bless!"

- M. Smith

"The moment I walked through the doors, I felt truly loved. .. We are truly blessed to have all of you in our lives and proud to call you all family... Although it carries the name of Sue's home, we know that it's truly God's home. They helped us to find our faith in the Lord and hold onto his Word. They showed us outstanding love and concern for our health and the reconstruction of our families, as well as our own self-worth. We have learned to be patient, kind, loving, and obedient. They have become a very special part of our lives and we love them all. Once again, we thank you and may God continue to bless you all!"

Sue's Home

Located in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Sue’s Home is a long term residential program for women and children.  We accept women who have graduated from residential drug or alcohol treatment facilities or have been released from incarceration. We also accept women and children who find themselves homeless due to various economic situations. They are able to remain in Sue’s Home for 6 months and may, after successfully completing the program, receive assistance with relocation, partial rent and utilities for 3 months. The Transitional Program is a comprehensive, faith-based program designed to assist women who are dealing with the effects of abuse, homelessness, addictions and/or past incarceration.  Our desire is to provide a safe, nurturing environment for women and their families as they work to become self-sufficient, productive citizens in our communities and positive role models for their families. We focus on providing the necessary educational tools and mentors needed to assist our clients and their families as they begin to make changes toward self-discipline, self-motivation, and good decision making pertaining to their individual and family needs.

BREAKTHROUGH!

BREAKTHROUGH! is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of 18 to 24-year-olds, the fastest growing homeless population on the coast!  Many of these vulnerable young adults are “aging out” of foster care and may have lived in multiple households and attended numerous schools. They are particularly susceptible to human trafficking, addiction and homelessness.

Community Care Network, in collaboration with youth courts and other agencies and partners now assists these young people by providing housing, Life Skills training, mentoring and counseling designed to address their unique needs and to encourage them to become self-reliant as they BREAKTHROUGH to a new future.
